Conway Twitty’s Grandson, Tre Twitty Talks About Official Conway Twitty Day

If you’re a country music fan, then you probably know about a certain country music legend hailing from Mississippi, the one and only, Conway Twitty.

The singer was originally born Harold Lloyd Jenkins on September 1st, 1933, in Friars Point, Mississippi, but when he was a young boy, his family relocated to Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. Now, the Mayor of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, Jay Hollowell, Phillips County Judge Clark Hall, and the governor, Asa Hutchinson, for the state of Arkansas, is doing something special to remember the icon. They will be proclaiming June 5th, the actual anniversary date of the late artist’s death, officially as Conway Twitty Day. Continue reading →

One great singer/songwriter, Brinley Addington, has been paving his way in Nashville for a few years, but he’s walking a new road, by releasing his long awaited debut EP available now entitled, Songs From A Bar.

One country music superstar, Kelsea Ballerini, is keeping busy these days with a new husband, a recently released new album, Unapologetically, and starting a new tour with Keith Urban this summer! But…is the singer ready to release MORE new music soon?

Kelsea Ballerini has been known to give great teasers, including yesterday on her Instagram Stories, showing that she was already recording a new song that we could possibly see on her next album. One Year Later – Nashville Season 6 – The Final Season

It’s only been a little over one year since beloved fans of the television show Nashville (“Nashies” as they like to call themselves), were heartbroken when the ABC network cancelled the series, but the Nashville-based cable network, CMT, came to the rescue for the drama after fans took over the Internet with their hashtag, #BringBackNashville in hopes to save the show.

Now we have already seen all of season 5 and fans were guaranteed to see a Season 6 this January in 2018, but unfortunately this fall it was announced that the next season, would be its last. Just a little over a year ago, The CMBeat wrote an article about The Reality Of Nashville Season 5, so in light of the new season being less than a week away from its premiere date, we thought we would do a recap of what all has happened this past season and what everyone could expect from Season 6. Silverado Records Launches Part 3 Of Signature Songwriter Series With Upcoming Country Artist, Tyler Jordan

A new upcoming record label in Nashville, TN, Silverado Records has been busting at the seams this year with their list of artists releasing new music. Earlier this fall, the label launched some new music with a new EP, continuing in their Silverado Signature Songwriter Series. The special collection of music focuses on showcasing the songwriter talent from their roster of artists.

Each new volume added to the series will have a new featured singer/songwriter and all songs on the EP are written by the featured artist. Volume one in the collection was released the first of this year with country newcomer, Zack Dyer (read our review HERE), and Volume 2 spotlighted texas singer, Crystal Yates (read our review HERE). Chris Young Becomes The Newest Member Of The Grand Ole Opry

Tonight many Chris Young fans from around the world gathered at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee or online listening through WSM Radio, to hear the artist have a night he won’t ever forget and neither will his fans, Chris Young becoming the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.

On the night of August 29th at the Opry, Young was in for a big surprise, when being asked by legendary country singer, Vince Gill, to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry in October.
