It was a wonderful night to listen to some great country music when country artists, Kimberly Kelly and The Oak Ridge Boys came out to perform at Graceland Live in Memphis, Tennessee for a show!
The show started with the lovely upcoming country music artist, Kimberly Kelly, as she had some fellow musicians with her as well to perform with her. One was her husband, Brett Tyler who is a singer songwriter in Nashville who co-wrote Blake Shelton’s latest single Hell Right, while she also had 2019 CMA Musician Of The Year nominee, Jenee Fleenor with her playing fiddle.
Kimberly Kelly that is originally from Texas, performed some great songs during her performance such as a couple covers like Blame It On Your Heart by Patty Loveless and Those Memories Of You by Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris.
The female artist, also sang some amazing songs from her latest EP including the title track, Don’t Blame It On Me, as well as Prayer and a Six Pack, Some Things Have A Name, Daddy’s 8-Track, and her incredible cover of a Don Williams’ song that’s included on the record, First Fool In Line. There was no doubt that the crowd was excited to see the main act of the evening, the popular country music group, The Oak Ridge Boys. They were interactive with the audience and talked some, while also mentioning a little bit about their eighth upcoming Christmas album, Down Home Christmas, coming out on October 25th.
The band performed several well known songs such as a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace that left them with a standing ovation from the crowd. They played a few songs from their latest album, 17th Avenue Revival, such as Pray To Jesus, Brand New Star and There Will Be Light.
Along with those songs, the band performed some popular hits of theirs like, Gonna Take A Lot Of River, Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight, Roll Tennessee River, Dream On and many more. When coming close to the end of the show, Kimberly Kelly, Brett Tyler and Jenee Fleenor came out to join The Oak Ridge Boys for an awesome performance of their biggest hit, Elvira, and the band closed the show with Bobbie Sue.
