New Festival Coming To Arkansas

A new festival is on the horizon in Arkansas! The new event is entitled Delta Roots Country Festival – A Tribute To Conway Twitty, that is going to be held in Downtown Helena, Arkansas on April 27th, 2019 from 11am to 9pm.

This new festival is going to include a variety of things such as the Country “Twitty” Bike Ride, starting at 9am that will be $10 to enter and students are free. Other things the festival will have is different arts & crafts, food vendors, a Country Harmonica Workshop from 10am-11am with David Berntson and the first 100 participants will receive a free Hohner Blues Band harmonica. They also will be having a raffle for a custom painted guitar!

A local restaurant, Wild Hog Saloon located in Helena, will also be holding their 3rd Annual Crawfish Boil featuring a live band, Juke Box Zero, that will be playing from 8 to 12. The crawfish boil will be starting at 3pm and will be continued to be served until they run out.

Along with those activities, there will also be live music from a collection of artists including the main headliners, a former NBC The Voice contestant, Chris Kroeze and Conway Twitty’s grandson, Tre Twitty, along with Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter, Tayla Lynn, as they play a tribute performance to Conway Twitty.

Some other performers that will be featured includes John King, Taylor Wilkison, The Live Wire Band, Mother Hubbard and the Regulators, CW Gatlin, and Zach Day. You can check out the pictures below for more information and for a complete schedule of events during the festival.
