Blake Shelton’s Back To The Honky Tonk Tour Visits Little Rock

One of the biggest country artists in the genre, Blake Shelton recently came to a perform a concert this weekend, on March 16th at the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas on his Back To The Honky Tonk Tour!

The country singer also brought with him fellow tour mates, Jackson Dean and Carly Pearce! Upcoming artist, Jackson Dean was the opening act for the show and performed five songs including, Trailer Park, Big Blue, Heaven To Betsy, Fearless and his breakout single, Don’t Come Lookin’! Travis Tritt & Chris Janson Comes To Jonesboro, AR On The Can’t Miss Tour

One of the best tours this year, The Can’t Miss Tour featuring country artists, Travis Tritt & Chris Janson recently came to perform at the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 13th! 

Along with Tritt and Janson, the tour featured the upcoming country duo, The War Hippies as the opening act! “Thanks for coming out a little early!” said the duo. This duo which includes the members, Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis are both USMC & U.S. Army Combat Veterans. The duo performed a few of their original songs including American Son, Killin’ It, and The Hangman. They also performed a cover of Chris Issak’s song entitled, Wicked Game and performed a beautiful rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance. Continue reading

Trace Adkins Comes To Forrest City, AR On The Way I Wanna Go Tour

Recently, The natural state welcomed country music artist, Trace Adkins on a wonderful fall Saturday night on October 1st performing at the Eastern Arkansas Community College Fine Arts Center in Forrest City, Arkansas!

“I’m really happy to be here tonight!” said Adkins as he had a warm welcome to the stage. The country artist shared that Forrest City, Arkansas is actually the halfway point between where his family is in Louisiana to Nashville, so he stops in Forrest City, every so often while traveling. “To come play here, this is really cool. 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards Recap

The fifth annual Arkansas Country Music Awards recently took place for the second year in a row at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas Campus in Conway, Arkansas on June 6th. 

This award show is a great event as it focuses a spotlight on all those from Arkansas including upcoming country music artists, musicians and individuals in the country music industry. It was hosted by country music historian, Charles Haymes and Miss Arkansas 2014, Ashton Gill. Continue reading

Cory Jackson Wins at 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards

A rising country music artist, Cory Jackson recently had a big night as he took home the Video of the Year award at the 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards! 

The Jonesboro, Arkansas native won for the music video of his song, Put Some Country In Your Country, which was filmed in Jonesboro and directed by Kenny Jackson. Of course, the win came as quite the surprise for the singer songwriter! Continue reading

The 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards are quickly approaching as the award show will take place at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas Campus in Conway, Arkansas on June 6th! A variety of performers have been announced which will be included in this year’s show!

One of the performers announced is country music artist and Grand Ole Opry Member, Jeannie Seely! It will be a special night for her as she is also a nominee in the Song Of The Year category for writing a song entitled, “Yours” which was recorded by Diane Berry and Joe Wade Smith.
