For years in the music industry, you have always seen artists cover other music besides their own. The idea of musicians performing other artist’s songs still stands true today even among singer’s such like upcoming country artist Johnny Reed Foley who is keeping the tradition alive by recently covering a favorite 90’s country hit, That Ain’t My Truck by Rhett Akins.
The singer/songwriter kept his cover of the song simple and sweet, performing the song acoustically on guitar in his recent video. Foley’s cover of the song will surprise you of how much he actually sounds similar to the original singer and will make you remember why you fell in love with the song the first time!

Johnny’s covers are great, as are his originals. I can’t wait to see his progress in Nashville.
