A young upcoming country artist, Jordana Bryant recently released her very first original holiday song on November 11th entitled, First Christmas in Love!

The sweet single is based around spending time with loved ones during the holiday season. Recently, The CMBeat got to chat with Jordana Bryant about her new Christmas single, the inspiration behind it and why she wanted to release a original Christmas song this year! 

Emily Ann Wells: Where did the inspiration come from to write this Christmas song?
Jordana Bryant: I absolutely love Christmas time! I really do believe it’s the most wonderful time of the year, and growing up, I was always the first one to start playing Christmas music. There’s something so magical about the holidays, and I really wanted to capture that in this song.

Emily Ann Wells: What made you want to release an original Christmas song?
Jordana Bryant: Last year when I was talking with my team about putting out some Christmas music, I knew I wanted to try to write my own Christmas song. Listening to Christmas music is always what gets me excited about the holidays, so I wanted to try writing my own Christmas song that would hopefully get people in the holiday spirit when they hear it. 

Emily Ann Wells: What’s your favorite Christmas tradition?
Jordana Bryant: One of my favorite Christmas memories is listening to old Christmas songs while my family and I decorate the tree. Every year for as long as I can remember, we’ve listened to our Christmas playlist on this old speaker we have that always takes forever to turn on, which is connected to an iPod that’s so old it doesn’t even have a touch screen! Listening to those songs and decorating with my family has become one of my favorite traditions.
