It was a great Saturday night for country music on June 3rd in Southaven, Mississippi as country music artists, Tracy Lawrence and Gary Allan came to perform a show on their tour at the BankPlus Amphitheater! 

On this particular evening, another popular 90’s country artist joined the show, Tracy Byrd! Reba McEntire Headlines Bridgestone Arena in Nashville For The First Time

It’s always special to attend a concert in Music City and even more so on a night where country music history is made. On October 21st, the country music icon, Reba McEntire brought her tour to Bridgestone Arena, marking the first time she has ever headlined by herself at the venue in Downtown Nashville!

Along with McEntire, she brought along fellow female country music artist, Terri Clark to open the show! “I am so happy to be here,” said Clark. “I want to thank Reba so much for having me out on this tour, this is incredible, it’s been amazing!”  Continue reading →

Travis Tritt & Chris Janson Comes To Jonesboro, AR On The Can’t Miss Tour

One of the best tours this year, The Can’t Miss Tour featuring country artists, Travis Tritt & Chris Janson recently came to perform at the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 13th! 

Along with Tritt and Janson, the tour featured the upcoming country duo, The War Hippies as the opening act! “Thanks for coming out a little early!” said the duo. This duo which includes the members, Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis are both USMC & U.S. Army Combat Veterans. The duo performed a few of their original songs including American Son, Killin’ It, and The Hangman. They also performed a cover of Chris Issak’s song entitled, Wicked Game and performed a beautiful rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance. Continue reading →

Jeannie Seely, Lee Ann Womack & More To Perform at 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards

The 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards are quickly approaching as the award show will take place at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas Campus in Conway, Arkansas on June 6th! A variety of performers have been announced which will be included in this year’s show!

One of the performers announced is country music artist and Grand Ole Opry Member, Jeannie Seely! It will be a special night for her as she is also a nominee in the Song Of The Year category for writing a song entitled, “Yours” which was recorded by Diane Berry and Joe Wade Smith. Dion Pride Celebrates His Father, Charley Pride’s 88th Birthday at the Grand Ole Opry

The iconic country music artist, Charley Pride was born on this day in 1934. As today would have been the singer’s 88th Birthday, his son, Dion Pride performed at the Grand Ole Opry on Thursday night in honor of his father. 

A Texas native, Dion Pride was one of five featured artists on the Opry Country Classics show, which showcases country artists recognizing those who came before them in country music history and performing a few covers of songs from other country artists. Continue reading →

It’s March 1st and all the nominees for the Arkansas Country Music Awards 2022 have been announced, which means voting is now OPEN!

Morgan Wallen Performs Last Show Of 2021

On December 12th, country superstar Morgan Wallen performed his last concert of 2021 with his friends, ERNEST and HARDY after having three back-to-back sold out shows at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi!

The concert started out on a great note with ERNEST opening the show! ERNEST performed a few of his songs during his set including Cheers, Bottle’s Bout Dead, I Think I Love You, American Rust and Sugar. He also performed a couple big songs he wrote for other artists such as Chris Lane’s song, Big, Big Plans and two songs from Morgan Wallen entitled, If I Know Me and Me On Whiskey. Continue reading →
