One of the most anticipated nights for country music took place on March 16th, as country superstar, Morgan Wallen performed one of three sold out shows headlining at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on The Dangerous Tour!

Artists Come Out For Salute The Troops Opry Show

A few artists of all genres recently came out for a special Grand Ole Opry show entitled, Salute The Troops to support those serving our country featured on the Saturday Night Opry on Saturday, May 29th of Memorial Day Weekend!

This special event was the first sold out show at full capacity the Grand Ole Opry has had since 2020 and included several different artists including Jeannie Seely, Riders In The Sky, Matthew West, Rhonda Vincent, Chris Young, Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs! Continue reading

The Bellamy Brothers Visit Arkansas

A notable duo that has been in the country music genre for many years, The Bellamy Brothers, which the members consist of Howard and David Bellamy, recently made a stop for a show on January 19th in Forrest City, Arkansas, where they performed at the Eastern Arkansas Community College.

One Year Later – Nashville Season 6 – The Final Season

It’s only been a little over one year since beloved fans of the television show Nashville (“Nashies” as they like to call themselves), were heartbroken when the ABC network cancelled the series, but the Nashville-based cable network, CMT, came to the rescue for the drama after fans took over the Internet with their hashtag, #BringBackNashville in hopes to save the show.

Now we have already seen all of season 5 and fans were guaranteed to see a Season 6 this January in 2018, but unfortunately this fall it was announced that the next season, would be its last. American Idol And Its Impact on Country Music

Two Words – American Idol. This music reality competition show has been in our homes, on our television screens, on Wednesday and Thursday nights for the past fifteen years. If you’ve been a loyal watcher, like I have been through the years, I’m sure you experienced the same rollercoaster of emotions, when we said a final, bittersweet goodbye to the show last month, on April 7th.

While we’re all still trying to figure out what Ryan Seacrest’s “For Now” comment at the end of the show meant… I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and explore the impact that American Idol has had on country music, and revisit the 7 wonderful country artists who owe their careers to the show, its producers, and of course the countless fans who faithfully cast their votes.
