Country Artists Come Together For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Annual #ThisShirtSavesLives Movement

This December, several country music artists including Lady A, Kelsea Ballerini, Priscilla Block, Jordan Davis, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, Scotty McCreery, Jelly Roll, Dan + Shay, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, CeCe Winans, Trisha Yearwood, Bailey Zimmerman, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Ashley McBryde and more joined together to help raise awareness to an important cause!

They donned the new black This Shirt Saves Lives t-shirt on social media as part of an annual campaign encouraging the public to become a monthly donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Continue reading

Christmas 4 Kids Tour Bus Show 2018 Recap

Even though the holiday season is now over, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s never a good time to help support some of your local causes.

Last year, The CMBeat did a feature on the non-profit organization, Christmas 4 Kids, which is a cause that helps collect and donate toys for children that may be less fortunate in the Middle Tennessee area. Christmas 4 Kids Host Annual Show at the Ryman Auditorium 

As the holiday season is quickly approaching, this is one of the important times of the year, where folks like to help out and support some of their favorite charities. One of the popular causes that is supported locally here in Nashville, is the non-profit organization, Christmas 4 Kids.

The charity which was created in 1982, Christmas Caravan, before changing its name a few years later in 1992, has been established for more than 36 years, helping to raise money for children around the middle Tennessee area, to help give toys to those who may be less fortunate and provide a little more joy for the kids every Christmas. Recap of the 59th Annual Grammy® Awards: Country Edition

If you spent any amount of time this past week watching TV or scrolling through your social media feeds, you know that everyone was buzzing about the 59th Annual Grammy® Awards, which premiered on CBS, February 12th.

British pop music sensation, Adele, opened the show with a beautiful performance of her hit song, Hello. She also closed the show by winning the highest honor and last award of the night… the coveted Album of the Year award. Other standout mainstream music moments included a performance by Ed Sheeran, a tribute to Prince that featured Bruno Mars, and another tribute to the Bee Gees, featuring a memorable arrangement of their iconic hit, Stayin’ Alive, performed by Demi Lovato.

Although pop music and pop artists seemed to monopolize most of the night, country music had plenty of great moments as well. Continue reading
