Riley Green Brings The This Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour To Jonesboro, AR

It’s always a great time to listen to more traditional country music in the natural state! The country music artist, Riley Green came to town, along with Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley to perform a wonderful concert on the This Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour at the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, AR!

Upcoming country music artist, Ella Langley opened the show performing five songs. “It’s a pleasure to be here with y’all!,” said the artist. She performed two of her well known songs including Paint The Town Blue and That’s Why We Fight, along with Country Boy’s Dream Girl, Could’ve Been Her and one unreleased song entitled, If You’re Gonna Be Gone

3857EA53-1350-4912-880F-904D6AD558E6The 90’s country music legendary artist, Tracy Lawrence started off the second portion of the show with his signature country sound! “Always great to be back in the home state of Arkansas, it’s been way too long everybody!” Lawrence said to the audience. He performed several of his big hit songs including Find Out Who You’re Friends Are, Can’t Break It To My Heart, Is That A Tear, I See It Now, Sticks & Stones, Alibis, Texas Tornado, How A Cowgirl Says Goodbye, Time Marches On and Paint Me A Birmingham

Along with those songs, Tracy Lawrence performed a new song he recently released which is the title track to his new EP coming out this summer on June 7th entitled, Out Here In It. Tracy Lawrence also performed an amazing medley tribute to some country music stars we have lost in recent years. The songs in the wonderful medley he performed included The Gambler by Kenny Rogers, Kiss An Angel Good Mornin’ by Charley Pride, John Deere Green by Joe Diffie and The Devil Went Down To Georgia by Charlie Daniels Band. 

The country music superstar, Riley Green made his grand entrance to the stage opening the concert with his big hit, Different ‘Round Here! “Thank y’all so much for coming to hangout with us tonight,” said Green at the beginning of the show. Along with that, right before the country artist came out on stage, they showed a cute slideshow of his dog, Carl and he made an appearance later during the show!

Along with all those songs, Riley Green performed with Ella Langley singing a cover of Jamey Johnson’s song, In Color. The country artist, Riley Green also brought back out Tracy Lawrence to pay tribute to a country music icon we recently lost, Toby Keith by performing a fantastic cover of his song, Should’ve Been A Cowboy. Riley Green performed three more great covers as well including Travis Tritt’s song, Where Corn Don’t Grow, Toby Keith’s song, Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue, and a cover of Alabama’s song, Dixieland Delight

One of the memorable moments of the night was when Riley Green and his band made a little acoustic set at the end of the stage, performing Green’s two songs, Mississippi or Me and Hell Of A Way To Go. The country singer told how his song, Hell Of A Way To Go from his new album was inspired by his grandpa. Riley Green was also very appreciative of everyone in the audience coming out to see him on his tour and for supporting his music! “Thank y’all so much for supporting country music,” said Green

There’s no question, Riley Green performs an amazing show! The one special thing about the This Ain’t My Last Rodeo Tour, is you can tell country music itself, is the main focus of this tour, which makes it more extraordinary. Tracy Lawrence was a fantastic addition to the concert as well, adding in his traditional country music sound!
