Today, The CMBeat is so excited to share the EXCLUSIVE news and make the official announcement that country artist, Kaleb Woods will be releasing his Debut EP early this summer entitled, Summertime On!

The upcoming country music artist, Kaleb Woods recently got to chat with The CMBeat to talk exclusively about his Debut EP, Summertime On, which will be officially released on May 9th!

When talking to the Wisconsin native, you could easily tell he’s very happy to be releasing his debut EP! “I’m excited for so many things!” as Woods exclusively tells The CMBeat. “This EP tells a story of summer, fun, love, and more fun! Having just experienced one of the best summers of my life; writing this music has allowed me to relive that over and over. My hope is that the listeners find that same sense while listening.”

Since this new music will be Woods’ debut EP, he’s thrilled to be sharing his sound with the world and this project will obviously be a little extra special. “I can confidently say out of all the projects I’ve been a part of, this is the one I am most excited for.” said Woods. 

The debut EP will feature five brand new songs which was all written by the singer songwriter and Woods talked about which song on the record was his favorite and who was the inspiration behind it. “Summertime On is truly the anthem of this entire EP. Outside of that, I’d say the song “Just My Type” is the one that gets me most excited.” as Woods exclusively tells The CMBeat. “The melodies and lyrics tell a fun love story, and the guitar solo is a callback to the first song I ever wrote for my wife. She’s the inspiration behind this one so shoutout to her! Honestly though, every song on this EP is a summer jam, and I’m so excited to share them!”

Along with the wonderful announcement of Woods’ new music, The CMBeat has the honor as well of having the EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE of Kaleb Woods’ official lyric video for the title track of his debut EP, Summertime On!

Kaleb Woods’ single, Summertime On was also his debut release last October, he wrote the song himself and explained how he came up with the idea for the song! “Ironically, I wrote this song on a cold rainy day when I was missing all the fun and crazy antics of summer.” as Woods exclusively tells The CMBeat. “I live in Wisconsin, so our summer season lasts for all of 2 seconds. In that short amount of time however, I experienced nothing but boats, drinks, laughs, and created lifelong memories I won’t soon forget. It was a challenge trying to jam pack all of that into just 3 minutes; but I definitely get a sense of euphoria everytime I hear it. Shout out to my amazing supporting cast of family and friends that helped influence this song.”

The singer songwriter hopes his style will show through his upcoming new music and in turn his fans can get a good sense of who Woods’ is as a person and an artist. “I’m all about having a good time, all the time. My goal is for listeners to channel that vibe through the music. The E.P. will contain 5 tracks dedicated to that exact vibe.” said Woods.

There’s no question Woods is very excited about his new chapter beginning in his country music career and is thankful for those who has helped support him along the way! “I can’t wait to share what’s coming next, and am so appreciative to those that have supported me in this journey.” said Woods. “I’m seriously having a blast, and will continue to have as much fun with it as I possibly can!”
