The 3rd Annual Arkansas Country Music Awards just took place in a new way this year with a virtual show and was on television for local Arkansas residents.
While the show was online as well, the one hour event was filled with performances, stories and presenting the awards. The show included performances from Kelsey Lamb, Shawn Camp, Anna Brinker & Adam Cunningham, Erin Enderlin, Heath Sanders and Bailey Hefley.
Some of the artists during the show talked about how the awards show has influenced the natural state. “Well I feel like the Arkansas Country Music Awards are really important for the local folks in Arkansas.” said Shawn Camp. “It really gives them a moment to shine and encourages them to keep making music.”
“I feel the Arkansas Country Music Awards are great for independent performers like myself. I think it really helps to showcase some of the amazing music that’s coming out of Arkansas right now.” said Erin Enderlin.
The Conway, Arkansas native continued by saying how the awards has led her to learning about new music and meeting people in the music industry. “Also, one really cool thing that I think, I know I’ve discovered a lot of great musicians through the show that have inspired me musically and made new relationships.”
