It has been over three years since country music artist, Charles Esten, made the announcement that he was going to start working on a new project that was very interesting, and turned out to be something that had never been done before in the music industry.

On July 15th, 2016, the singer songwriter, Charles Esten who is well known for his role on the drama television show, Nashville, announced that he was going to release a new song every Friday with this new adventure being called, Every Single Friday.

At the time, Esten didn’t know for how long he would release a new song every Friday, but he ended up putting out a new single every Friday for one full year! In fact, the artist even made it in the Guinness World Records for Most consecutive weeks to release an original digital single by a music act and was presented with a certificate on the NBC’s Today Show, with Kathy Lee and Hoda.

Charles Esten recently posted on one of his social media pages about the memorable moment that happened over one year ago about receiving his plaque on the popular show. Although the musician hasn’t said if he would ever do the Every Single Friday’s again, he did say his upcoming new music will be released all at one time by saying on his Twitter post quote, “My next record will just be an album. 👍🏻”
