The seventh annual Arkansas Country Music Awards recently announced earlier this year in February, the official list of 2024 nominees! Back in December 2023, it was announced the female country music artist, Mae Estes would receive the Momentum Award at the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards!

This news comes on the heels, as of last November when Mae Estes signed a record deal with Big Machine Records in Nashville, Tennessee. “The Momentum Award is a special award for a past recipient or nominee that moves to a major label,” said in a press release from the Arkansas Country Music Awards. 

The Hope, Arkansas native, Mae Estes has been a staple in the recent years of the annual Arkansas Country Music Awards. Mae Estes has won one of the biggest awards, Female Vocalist of the Year for three consecutive years in a row and has had six career Arkansas Country Music Awards nominations overall. 

Since the beginning of the Arkansas Country Music Awards in 2018, the powerhouse vocalist, Mae Estes will become the second artist to have ever received this award in its history. As the country artist is no longer eligible in the regular categories for the Arkansas Country Music Awards with the main focus of the awards to show support to independent artists, it’s opened a few categories this year for artists to possibly receive a nomination and possibly win in the categories. 

Although, Estes is not eligible, she did share a post with gratitude and showing love to friends in the Arkansas country music community, sharing the official list of the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards Nominees! “Congrats to all of my talented Arkansas friends on their nominations! So proud and grateful to have gotten to be the ACMA Female Vocalist of the Year in my home state of Arkansas for the last three years. 💜,” shared Mae Estes in a Facebook post. 

Earlier in April, it was announced Mae Estes will also be performing at the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards! She will be performing alongside several other artists previously announced including Linda Davis, Mandy Barnett, Midnight South, Sylamore Special, David Adam Byrnes, 4Runner, Tyler Kinch, Tom Yankton, Big Shane Thornton, Justin Keith, Andy Wallis, Erin Enderlin, Marybeth Byrd, Cory Jackson, Josh Matheny and Luke Williams. More performers are expected to be announced soon! 

The 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards will be happening on Monday, June 3rd at the Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus for the fourth year in a row! This year’s award show will be hosted by country music historian and journalist, Charles Haymes and Miss Arkansas 2014, Ashton Gill. Don’t miss this special event in Arkansas!
