One Year Later – Nashville Season 6 – The Final Season

It’s only been a little over one year since beloved fans of the television show Nashville (“Nashies” as they like to call themselves), were heartbroken when the ABC network cancelled the series, but the Nashville-based cable network, CMT, came to the rescue for the drama after fans took over the Internet with their hashtag, #BringBackNashville in hopes to save the show.

Now we have already seen all of season 5 and fans were guaranteed to see a Season 6 this January in 2018, but unfortunately this fall it was announced that the next season, would be its last. Just a little over a year ago, The CMBeat wrote an article about The Reality Of Nashville Season 5, so in light of the new season being less than a week away from its premiere date, we thought we would do a recap of what all has happened this past season and what everyone could expect from Season 6. One Week Later – A Look Back on the “Nashville” Finale

Fans of the ABC TV show Nashville (or “Nashies”, as they prefer to be called) were all wondering how producers of the show were going to wrap up so many storylines in only one hour as the network presented the series finale Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

The decision to cancel the series was announced by ABC only a couple weeks beforehand, after the current season 4 was already filmed. However, despite not having time to re-shoot any of the remaining episodes, the show did pretty well bringing closure to most of the plot lines… except one, which was obviously meant to be a season cliffhanger.
