Alabama Comes To Little Rock On The 50th Anniversary Tour

The great country music band, Alabama has been on the road the last couple years on the 50th Anniversary Tour to celebrate the band’s fifty years in the country music industry. Recently, Alabama came to perform on their tour at the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas!

This particular show had country music artist, Tracy Lawrence as the opener for the concert as he’s been apart of the tour for some show dates! Christmas 4 Kids Tour Bus Show 2018 Recap

Even though the holiday season is now over, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s never a good time to help support some of your local causes.

Last year, The CMBeat did a feature on the non-profit organization, Christmas 4 Kids, which is a cause that helps collect and donate toys for children that may be less fortunate in the Middle Tennessee area. A newly founded label in Nashville, Silverado Records has been dominating the country music scene this year with new music from their artists. They also have been showcasing their singer’s songwriting skills with the Silverado Signature Songwriter Series.

Silverado Records doesn’t have any plans of slowing down, in fact they are turning up the heat this summer with a new album, Summer On Repeat, that features songs from artists on their roster, along with a few guest appearances by some familiar faces!

American Idol And Its Impact on Country Music

Two Words – American Idol. This music reality competition show has been in our homes, on our television screens, on Wednesday and Thursday nights for the past fifteen years. If you’ve been a loyal watcher, like I have been through the years, I’m sure you experienced the same rollercoaster of emotions, when we said a final, bittersweet goodbye to the show last month, on April 7th.

While we’re all still trying to figure out what Ryan Seacrest’s “For Now” comment at the end of the show meant… I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and explore the impact that American Idol has had on country music, and revisit the 7 wonderful country artists who owe their careers to the show, its producers, and of course the countless fans who faithfully cast their votes.
