Jimmy Fortune Releases New Album, God & Country

A wonderful country music artist, Jimmy Fortune, that you may know originally as a member from the popular country music group for over twenty-one years, The Statler Brothers, recently released a beautiful new album you’re going to want to listen to.

The new record is an addition to the Gaither Gospel Series that is entitled, God & Country which mainly focuses on celebrating all the great things America gives us, which includes fourteen captivating brand new songs on the album.

Some of the songs, country music fans as well as gospel fans may recognize such as tunes like God Bless America, The Old Rugged Cross, Battle Of New Orleans, and a song with a personal story that you will hear at the end of the record called, It Is No Secret. The album also features a special guest, featuring members from The Isaacs, another known member of the gospel music scene.

You can easily tell that great thought and detail went into creating this project. Every song on the album is remarkably noteworthy in itself. It definitely has a intriguing way of getting your toes tappin’, but then pull you right back in with your heartstrings on the more powerful ballads.
