Stella Parton Celebrates Milestone With New Album, Survivor

A admired independent country music singer songwriter, Stella Parton, is in for a special year as she celebrates a wonderful milestone in her life.

The artist for whom is related to another legendary country music singer, Dolly Parton, is celebrating by having been in the entertainment industry for five decades as her big sister helped her to begin making her career at the age of 14 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Parton has several credits to her list of accomplishments besides being a singer songwriter, that also include being a international award-winning artist, actress, author, and producer. In celebration of her success, she’s releasing her 40th studio album becoming available on March 29th entitled, Survivor.

She had a big hand in making her new record by not only producing the album, but also with the project having eight out of the ten songs on the record being originals from Parton, meaning she had a part in writing almost all of them except for two, as those songs are covers of other artist’s tunes such as Avicii’s Wake Me Up, and Bob Seger’s Like A Rock.

The traditional country music sounding album is a great collection of music combing the sweet mixture of the smoky mountains where the Parton family is originally from, and captures the singer’s beautiful voice. It features a variety of different country songs, from your love songs, to your heart break songs and to the songs that have special meaning.

There is definitely no doubt that Stella Parton should be very proud of everything she has accomplished, including all of her hard work on this new album. If traditional country music is more your style, then you will be sure to like Stella Parton’s new album, Survivor.
