Ali Morgan, an aspiring new singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, is officially releasing her debut single, Crazy, today on all online and streaming music platforms. The Chicago native and Silverado Records recording artist has been in Nashville for only a short time, but has already achieved some notable milestones in her career.
Fans of the pop-country single who don’t know anything about Morgan prior to hearing Crazy, will be surprised to know that the young artist is only 13-years-old. But despite her tender age, Morgan has already performed for thousands in her hometown of Chicago, landed coveted showcase spots at famed Nashville venues like the Bluebird Cafe and Belcourt Taps, and got signed to a Nashville record label. And now, she’s already releasing a song she wrote herself.
“I’m ecstatic that this is now out!”, Morgan exclusively tells The CMBeat, “This is my first chance to show the world who I am. Crazy is about all the good and the bad that goes on in a relationship from my eyes. It’s what I feel love makes you feel like.”
The single was recorded in Nashville, and produced by Grammy® award winning engineer/producer, Chad Carlson, who has worked with Taylor Swift and others. His contemporary but understated production on the single is the perfect match for Morgan’s delicate and youthful voice, allowing her vocals to shine through the instrumentation.
