Do you love Lee Brice and his music? Do you use the mobile app, Periscope? If you answered “yes” to the first question but “no” to the second, you might want to start learning about it!

Brice did an unexpected “scope” today while driving around talking about something he is going to do next week.

Last year, Brice, around this time, went on a writers retreat and wrote a bunch of great songs. Well, he dished on Periscope today that he is going back to the retreat next week, and he’ll be Periscoping some while he’s there!

Brice said he really wanted his fans to know what goes into a record: “I want y’all to see what really happens, how you really make a record, I want y’all to see what really goes into it.”

Brice also let the cat out of the bag about some new songs from his upcoming album, due out later this year. He said he wrote some songs at the retreat last year and that three or four songs off the album are from that collection.

He mentioned two song titles specifically: “You Can’t Help Who You Love” and “Rumor.” Brice gave Periscope viewers a taste of the song “Rumor” by singing these lyrics:

     There’s a rumor going around
     About me and you…

Sounds pretty good already, right?!

So if you weren’t already stoked about Brice’s next album, this should seal the deal.
