Country Artists Come Together For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Annual #ThisShirtSavesLives Movement

This December, several country music artists including Lady A, Kelsea Ballerini, Priscilla Block, Jordan Davis, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, Scotty McCreery, Jelly Roll, Dan + Shay, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, CeCe Winans, Trisha Yearwood, Bailey Zimmerman, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Ashley McBryde and more joined together to help raise awareness to an important cause!

They donned the new black This Shirt Saves Lives t-shirt on social media as part of an annual campaign encouraging the public to become a monthly donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Continue reading

Brooks & Dunn Comes To Little Rock

One of the biggest well known artists in country music, Brooks & Dunn recently came to perform a fantastic show at the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas on May 20th on their Reboot 2023 Tour

Brooks & Dunn brought along upcoming female country artist, Megan Moroney and country artist, Scotty McCreery! The upcoming artist, Megan Moroney was grateful to be apart of this tour. American Idol And Its Impact on Country Music

Two Words – American Idol. This music reality competition show has been in our homes, on our television screens, on Wednesday and Thursday nights for the past fifteen years. If you’ve been a loyal watcher, like I have been through the years, I’m sure you experienced the same rollercoaster of emotions, when we said a final, bittersweet goodbye to the show last month, on April 7th.

While we’re all still trying to figure out what Ryan Seacrest’s “For Now” comment at the end of the show meant… I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and explore the impact that American Idol has had on country music, and revisit the 7 wonderful country artists who owe their careers to the show, its producers, and of course the countless fans who faithfully cast their votes.
