It’s been a very exciting day for the well known country music duo, Dan + Shay! Today, Dan + Shay announced on social media their latest single, “Save Me The Trouble” went to #1, making the tune their 10th No. 1 song at country radio! 

The single, “Save Me The Trouble” is featured on their newest album, “Bigger Houses” and was one of the first songs to be released before the album came out on September 15th, 2023. It was written by Dan + Shay, along with fellow songwriters, Jordan Minton, Ashley Gorley and Jordan Reynolds.  

Dan + Shay posted a video on their social media announcing the wonderful news and to say a big thank you to their fans and everyone involved in making this happen! “It’s surreal to even say that out loud. What a dream come true,” shared Smyers. “Thank you so much to all the country radio stations who played the heck out of this song, to our fans for showing love, for streaming this song, for spreading the word.”

Dan Smyers continued in the video, “Our co-writers, everybody in the studio who helped us bring it to life. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off 2024 or kick off the bigger houses album cycle. We are truly so grateful.” 

Shay Mooney also shared his excitement in the video about the big news! “I’m fired up man, I can’t wait to play this song on the Heartbreak On The Map tour coming up at the end of February, we are so excited!” Mooney continues, “Thank you guys, I know we’ve said that but we are going to say it a million times. We are so grateful to be coming into this year with our tenth No. 1 is absolutely crazy, after being a band for ten years, this is absolutely wild. Thank you guys for everything, we love you and we’ll see you on the Heartbreak On The Map tour!”
