Midland – Let It Roll

A quickly rising country music band, Midland, has been working hard in the country music scene from launching a podcast, touring, and with the release of their sophomore album, Let It Roll.

The brand new album features fourteen new songs, which means this record has more songs compared to their debut album. It also includes the intriguing debut single from the record, Mr. Lonely.

The album, Let It Roll, definitely continues to showcase Midland’s traditional country music sound, combined with a little rock and roll as well. There’s a variety of fantastic songs on the record with most of them being wrote or co-wrote from Midland such as Fourteen Gears, Cheatin’ Songs, Put The Hurt On Me, I Love You, Goodbye, Fast Hearts And Slow Towns and so many more!

One of the things that is new on this album is you get to hear some new voices on the project as well. Although Mark Wystrach, usually sings lead on all of Midland’s songs, they changed it up for this record, letting the two other members of the group sing a song each. Cameron Duddy is outstanding on the bittersweet love song, Lost In The Night and Jess Carson closes out the album with a great tune, Roll Away.

I love Midland’s first album On the Rocks, but Let it Roll is absolutely amazing! One of the best albums i’ve ever listened to. I can’t get enough of the Gator boys! They definitely have a sound like no other.

Love the first and second CD both. They have truly kept it country and threw in a couple rock and roll songs too. Very disappointed that they have not received the accolades they so deserve. They have become my favorite group. They are the best and it’s what I consider country music and not this stuff that’s out there now. I wish country music stations would play more of their music and wakeup to the fact that these guys have so much talent. Love Midland and their music!! Let It Roll boys!
