Top 5 Fan Favorite Songs from Nashville

Since we got so much love and so many positive comments about our last article on the recently cancelled television show, Nashville, we wanted to create another post for all you “Nashies” (fans of the show) out there, dedicated to your favorite songs from the series.

For this special project we asked Nashville Fans to tell us which song from the show was their favorite and why. Below we have made a Top 5 Favorite Nashville Songs list, and featured a few comments from fans about why they chose that song.

5. Strong Tonight
“Don’t Want To Be Strong Tonight, Just Want To Have A Breakdown, Get It All Out.” This song was featured during the recent episode in which Maddie was just legally emancipated from Rayna and Deacon. Rayna performs this song at a concert in Atlanta and it perfectly sums up the emotions and heartbreak her character is feeling. @CMertink on Twitter tells The CMBeat, “That song is the story of my life right now and Connie Britton singing it makes it so cool.”

4. From Here On Out
Season 4, Episode 11 was probably the most anticipated episode of the entire series – Deacon and Rayna’s wedding. On their wedding night, Deacon sings this tender song to his new bride, declaring the kind of man he will be for her, From Here On Out. @AtkinsonNancy on Twitter sent a tweet saying, “#TheCMbeat From Here On Out because it tells everything Rayna & Deacon have been through #BringBackNashville

3. Believing
Another beautiful song featuring Deacon Claybourne along with Maddie Jaymes (at the time we didn’t know she was a Claybourne) and Daphne. The lyrics say it all, “When I get the feeling, That my prayers have hit the ceiling, On those darker days, When my faith has lost all meaning, You keep me believing.” @68Gemstar from Twitter summed it up the best: @thecmbeat ‘Believing’ Beautiful song, beautiful moment in the show #BringBackNashville”

2. No One Will Ever Love You
A song performed by Rayna and Deacon at the iconic Bluebird Cafe. When you have the kind of rare chemistry these two characters share, you have to express it in song. @B_Libby on Twitter tells us “@thecmbeat “No One Will Ever Love You” beautiful song & sweet moment in the show. #BringBackNashville #TheCMbeat”

1. A Life That’s Good
By far, the most popular song about which our Twitter followers responded to us was A Life That’s Good. A sweet, simple song stating that you don’t need material things to have “a life that’s good.” It’s simple things and family that are celebrated in the beautiful lyrics: “At the end of the day, Lord I pray, I have a life that’s good.” Miriam Rosenberg on Facebook wrote this comment to us on our page: “A Life That’s Good. It just says everything.

Other honorable mentions go to the following: I Know How To Love You Now, Don’t Put Dirt On My Grave Just Yet, If I Didn’t Know Better, Nothing In This World Will Ever Break My Heart Again, Have A Little Faith In Me, When The Right One Comes Along, and My Song. A couple of my own personal favorites are, Telescope, He Ain’t Me, Being Alone, and Fade Into You.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this special project!

We hope another network will #BringBackNashville so we can all enjoy more of the great music and stories we’ve enjoyed over the past four seasons.
